Teens Charged After Armed Robbery In Windsor

Two 16-year-olds from Windsor have been charged following the armed robbery of a teen in Windsor.

Police say the victim met a male that is known to him at a parking lot on Howard Ave. just south of EC Row Expy. Tuesday night.

The male was accompanied by another male unknown to the victim and police were told the two suspects had weapons and demanded money.

The victim received minor injuries during an assault.

The suspects were arrested without incident at a nearby home.

The victim told investigators that he saw a firearm but only a knife has been recovered.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
