There's a new ferry on Lake Erie.
The new Pelee Islander II has arrived in Kingsville after sailing past Pelee Island and Leamington Friday morning.
Ferry officials say the Kingsville dock will be closed to the public on Friday to receive the ship, but there should still be a good view from other areas.
There will be an official welcome ceremony in August, but a date has not been determined yet.
Plans are also underway for public tours of the new vessel.
The ferry was built in Chile and departed on May 11.
It has much more capacity than the previous ship. It can carry 399 passengers and 34 cars with no tractor trailers or four tractor trailers and 16 cars.
