Motorcyclist Injured In Windsor Crash

A motorcyclist has been injured in a crash involving a bus shelter.

Windsor police say they were called to Wyandotte St. E. at Jefferson Blvd. shortly before 10am Saturday, on a report of a personal-injury collision.

Police say the driver was traveling westbound on Wyandotte St. from a red light when he somehow lost control of his bike and crashed it into a bus shelter, shattering its glass walls. A Canada Post box nearby was also damaged in the incident.

The motorcyclist was treated in hospital for minor injuries. The motorcycle was towed from the scene.

No additional details have been released and it is not known if charges will be filed.
