Suspect Identified In Windsor Stabbing

Police say a man was taken to the hospital Saturday morning after getting stabbed near the riverfront in Windsor.

According to police, a fight broke out between three men at around 2am at Goyeau St. and Chatham St. E. The fight escalated and resulted in one of the men getting stabbed.

Police say the man suffered non-life threatening stab wounds to his head, ear, and hand.

Windsor police have identified one of two suspects in the investigation. So far, no arrests have been made.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
