Police Looking For Witnesses In Downtown Windsor Brawl

Police are appealing for witnesses as they investigate a vicious brawl in downtown Windsor.

They say officers responded to a fight at the riverfront in the area of Riverside Dr. and Ouellette Ave. on Sunday around 12:30am and when they arrived found two males with serious injuries.

They were both taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Police say two male suspects got out of a vehicle, one with a shovel and the other with a knife, and an altercation occurred between the group.

Investigators believe this was not a random act and there are witnesses who left the area but haven't spoken to police.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
