Another Murder In Windsor

Windsor police are investigating another homicide.

They say it happened on Everts Ave. near Kenora St.

Investigators say the male suspect is in custody and there is no threat to public safety.

Constable Andy Drouillard says officers were called to a home on Wednesday at around 10:30am and found the body of a man.

More information is expected on Thursday.

This is the second murder since June 10 when officers found the body of a 31-year-old woman at an apartment building at University Ave. W and McKay Ave.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
