Driver Caught Going More Than Twice Speed Limit

The Ontario Provincial Police say a driver with a lead foot will face some severe consequences for allegedly speeding on Hwy. 3.

Officers stopped a vehicle going 130 km/h in a 60 km/h zone in Windsor around 9:30pm Saturday.

A 26-year-old Leamington man now faces a charge of stunt driving, along with a count of operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

He will have to walk now. His license has been suspended and his vehicle will be impounded for seven days.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
