Windsor Man Accused Of Break-And-Enter

A Windsor man is facing charges after a break-and-enter in the downtown core.

Windsor police say it happened around 5am on Thursday. Officers from the bicycle patrol unit were alerted to a commotion in the alleyway between Ouellette Ave. and Pelissier St., south of University Ave. W.

The officers could hear a rustling coming from a gated enclosure at the rear of a business, then they noticed damage to the gate and an open door to the business.

A man was found inside the business and arrested.

A 42-year-old man is charged with break-and-enter.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
