Too Many Lead Feet On Windsor Roads

Windsor police have laid several stunt driving and racing charges.

Police say an 18-year-old driver from Leamington was allegedly driving at 143 km/h in an 80 km/h zone near Dougall Pkwy. and 6th Concession on Saturday. The Class G1 licence holder was unaccompanied by a qualified driver.

Then on Sunday, a 22-year-old man and a 23-year-old man, both from Windsor, were caught allegedly racing at 126 km/h in a 60 km/h zone on Ouellette Ave. by Jackson Park.

All drivers had their licences suspended and vehicles impounded for seven days.
