All Beaches Open For Swimming

No local beaches are closed this week.

However, the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit says swimming is not recommended at West Belle River Beach because of high levels of bacteria. The local health unit says swimming at West Belle River Beach may pose a risk to public health.

Swimming was also not recommended at West Belle River Beach last week because levels of bacteria were unacceptable.

Two beaches were closed last week because levels of bacteria were unsafe at Sandpoint Beach and Colchester Beach.
