Windsor Couple Wins Big For Anniversary

A Windsor couple has won the top prize by playing INSTANT CASH FOR LIFE.

Laurie and Charles Carson of Windsor have won $675,000 in the INSTANT CASH FOR LIFE OLG game.

Laurie, a 54-year-old registered nurse, gave Charles, a 60-year-old retired automotive industry worker, the winning ticket for their third wedding anniversary.

When Charles saw the three 'LIFE' symbols on the ticket, he asked Laurie what they meant.

“I knew instantly it was a big winner,” said Lauri. “It feels surreal. We all dream about winning, but we don’t ever expect it to happen. It’s a fantasy that’s come true!”

They have chosen to take the $675,000 lump sum payment.

The Carsons plan to use the money to remodel their home, pay off bills, and cruize through Arizona on their motorcycles.

The winning ticket was purchased at Wings Variety on Totten Street in Windsor.
