UPDATE: Shooting In Ford City May Have Been Targeted

A man is in hospital with life threatening injuries after a shooting in Windsor.

Police say it happened at a home on Henry Ford Centre Dr. near Drouillard Rd. and Ontario St. around 3am on Tuesday.

Police continue to investigate but believe this may have been a targeted incident.

Initial reports indicate a lone male suspect entered the home dressed in black and wearing a ski mask. Investigators say he was carrying what is believed to be a handgun and believe the handgun was fired a number of times. The victim was found with gunshot wounds. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.
