Photos Of Stabbing Suspects Released

Police have released photos of two men suspected of stabbing another man in downtown Windsor.

Police say a 22-year-old man was stabbed near Ouellette Ave. and Park St. on August 6 just after 1am. Investigators say the victim was being a good Samaritan when he asked a man being followed by two other men in a threatening manner if he was okay.

The two male suspects are described as olive-skinned, around 5'6 and in their early 20's with medium builds. One was wearing a black and white tracksuit with three stripes, the number 72 on the right thigh and an emblem on the left thigh and white running shoes. The other was wearing a black shirt with a black zip-up jacket over top and carrying a white hat.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
