Swimming Not Recommended At One Local Beach

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit says no beaches are closed this week because of unsafe levels of bacteria.

However, local health officials say swimming is not recommended at Colchester Beach because bacteria levels exceed acceptable levels and may pose a risk to public health.

Sandpoint Beach and West Belle River Beach were closed last week because bacteria levels were unsafe for swimming.
