Arrest Made In String Of Convenience Store Robberies

A suspect in a series of convenience store robberies is reportedly off the streets.

Windsor police say in a tweet Thursday afternoon that an arrest was made in connection with five recent robberies.

Police did not immediately provide a description of the suspect or the robberies the suspect is being held for.

The most recent convenience store robbery took place early Monday morning on University Ave. W and Crawford Ave, however, police would not confirm whether this is one of the robberies.

More details are expected sometime Friday.
