Police Investigate Overnight Hit-And-Run

Windsor police are looking into a hit and run near the riverfront.

Police say they were called around 12:30am Saturday to Riverside Dr. W. and Campbell Ave., on a report of a personal-injury accident.

Two vehicles were involved and minor injuries were reported.

It was not clear how the collision happened but police say one of the vehicles left the scene. They are looking for a suspect.

No additional details have been released. Anyone who witnessed the collision who has not spoken with police, or who can provide additional information, should call Windsor police at (519) 255-6700.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
