Swimming OK In All But One Local Beach

Swimming is not recommended at one local beach this week.

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit says West Belle River Beach has unacceptable levels of bacteria and swimming may pose a risk to public health.

The health unit says no beaches are closed this week because of unsafe levels of bacteria.

Swimming was not recommended at Colchester Beach last week.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
