Assault Suspects Turn Themselves In

Three men accused of beating another man in a Windsor alleyway have been arrested.

Police say officers found a man bleeding from his head on Thursday around 1:45am in the area of Giles Blvd. and Bruce Ave. The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Investigators identified the suspects involved in the incident and they turned themselves in at police headquarters on Tuesday and Wednesday.

A 26-year-old man and a 31-year-old man, both from Windsor, are charged with aggravated assault. A 31-year-old Belle River man is also charged with aggravated assault.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
