Born To Be Wild & Dangerous

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Essex County have arrested a woman for allegedly riding drunk on her motorcycle.

The OPP say an officer spotted a woman on a motorcycle allegedly without her helmet near County Rd. 50 in Colchester South Sunday night. The officer says the 38-year-old woman from Essex was showing signs of impairment when he stopped her.

She is charged with impaired driving. Her licence has been suspended for 90 days and her motorcycle has been impounded for seven days.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
