Chrysler Pacifica sales sag in August

Windsor-built Chrysler Pacifica sales took a tumble in August.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) said it sold 312 Pacificas last month compared to 539 sold in August of 2017. That's a 42% drop. Pacificas are still selling well, though, with 5,136 sold so far this year, which is outpacing the first eight months of last year by 22%. The automaker reported record sales for the Windsor-built Pacifica minivan in June and July.

FCA said it sold 2,740 Windsor-built Dodge Grand Caravan minivans last month, which is up 2% compared with the same month last year.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
