Police said they arrested a man from Windsor on Thursday at a home on Cataraqui St. near Louis Ave. after an illicit drug trafficking investigation. Officers received information that a man was trafficking illicit drugs from a home near the downtown.
Police searched the home and found suspected crystal methamphetamine and methylphenidate, cash, and a number of digital scales.
The suspect is charged with several drug-related offences.
SPS Board Chair Kelly Ash said the decision followed discussions with Acting Chief Mike Federico and aligns with practices at other police services.
