Windsor police nab three suspects

Three people face charges after an investigation into property crime in Windsor.

Police arrested two men and a woman on Louis Ave. just north of Wyandotte St. Thursday night after a man arrived at a home on a motorcycle later determined to be stolen. Officers also found the woman was wanted on an outstanding warrant and another man was wanted in relation to a dangerous driving investigation. One of the men and the woman were also found to be breaching court orders including an order to not associate with one another.

A 33-year-old Windsor man is charged with possession of stolen property, a 31-year-old man from Windsor is charged with dangerous driving and four counts of breach of recognizance, and a 30-year-old woman from Windsor is charged with two counts of breach of recognizance and being wanted on an outstanding warrant.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
