Toronto police still trying to solve Windsor man's death

The investigation continues into what happened to a Windsor man who died in Toronto.

The body of 22-year-old Ivan Bruno Ujevic was found in Lake Ontario on September 5 at 12:50 p.m. Toronto police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward who would have been on the ferry from the Hanlan’s Point Toronto Island dock on September 2 at approximately 9:30 p.m. Police said they received reports of a man falling overboard off the ferry and that he was in distress with unknown injuries.

Ujevic was laid to rest on Tuesday. His obituary said he was a criminology student at the University of Windsor.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
