Shots fired in west Windsor

Windsor police are investigating early morning gunfire in the west end.

Police said on Thursday at approximately 4:30 a.m., several officers were dispatched to the area of Erie Street and Elm Avenue for a report of shots fired.

Investigators determined that there had been a verbal dispute between two groups outside of a home. One suspect is believed to have discharged a firearm multiple times and then fled the area. There were no injuries.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
