Break-in suspect arrested

A Windsor man has been charged with break and enter and mischief after an incident early Tuesday morning.

Police said they got a report of a break and enter in progress on Drouillard Road just south of Wyandotte Street around 4 a.m.

Investigators said a tipster reported seeing a man walking inside the fenced portion of the business and when officers arrived, noticed a hole in the fence where they believed he entered. A man was found hiding behind a stack of tires and was arrested. Officers also noticed a trailer on the property was damaged.

Andrew Parker, 48, of Windsor is charged.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
