Targeted drug raid near downtown Windsor

Windsor police have busted three men after a drug raid.

Police said the men were arrested during a search at a targeted home at Ellis Street and Goyeau Street Tuesday afternoon. Officers seized 74.6 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 1.0 gram of suspected crystal methamphetamine, brass knuckles and a short-bladed "T" handle knife, both of which are banned in Canada, a digital scale, cell phones and cash.

Kyle Royse, 28, of Windsor, Steven Folkes, 31, from Brampton and John Rees, 35, from New Brunswick are charged with several drug and weapons offences.

None of the allegations have been proven in court.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
