Carjacking injures two in east Windsor

Two people suffered minor injuries during an apparent carjacking Friday.

Windsor police say it happened shortly before 10:30 a.m. in the parking lot of a grocery store on Wyandotte Street East near Lauzon Road. Officers responded to a "trouble unknown" call. When they arrived at the scene, the two people said a man used force to steal their vehicle.

The man is described as a white male, 25 to 30 years old, six feet tall, 180 pounds, with a brown goatee and tattoos on his neck. He was wearing camouflage shorts, a black t-shirt, a black baseball hat and black sunglasses.

The stolen vehicle is described as a brown Buick Regal, Ontario licence CDZ-D002. If you see this vehicle, police ask that you not approach it yourself and call 911 with the information.
