UPDATE: Windsor man charged in fatal Lakeshore crash

A 23-year-old man has been charged in a weekend crash involving a motorcycle.

Ontario Provincial Police say Jacob Cesare of Windsor has been accused of impaired driving causing death in the crash that took place Saturday morning.

Officers were called to County Rd. 42 and Patillo Rd. around 6:30 a.m. The investigation revealed that a vehicle was turning eastbound onto Patillo when it hit a motorcycle traveling westbound.

The rider, identified as Armando Zilio, 64, of Lakeshore, was pronounced dead at the scene.

As of Monday morning, Cesare has been charged with exceeding 80 milligrams of blood alcohol content in a motor vehicle, causing a collision with a fatality.

The suspect is being held pending a bail hearing. The charge has yet to be proven in court.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
