Police investigate Ford City robbery

Windsor police are looking for a suspect in a weekend convenience store holdup.

Police say it happened shortly after 5 a.m. Saturday at the business on Drouillard Rd. at Milloy St. in the city's Ford City neighbourhood. The investigation revealed that a man, with his identity concealed by clothing, entered the store and approached the clerk behind the counter. The man struck the employee with what was described as either a real or toy handgun and demanded money. He then fled the store with an undetermined amount of cash.

The clerk suffered minor injuries in the incident.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a thin build, wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt, grey jogging pant,s and a mask.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
