Windsor man facing child pornography charges

A Windsor man has been swept up in a child pornography investigation.

Windsor police started an investigation in June into suspected online sharing of child pornography and said they identified a suspect in Windsor. Officers searched a home on Jefferson Boulevard near South National Street and arrested a man on Tuesday.

Harvey Ouellette, 54, from Windsor, is charged with two counts of possession of child pornography, accessing child pornography, and making child pornography available. Police do not believe that any local children were involved in the child pornography.

The investigation continues. None of the charges have been proven in court.
