Search on for downtown stabbing suspect

Windsor police now have a better description of a downtown stabbing suspect.

Police said two men in their early 20s were stabbed during a large group fight on Ouellette Avenue near Maiden Lane around 1 a.m. on Sunday. One victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and the other suffered minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a black man, 5 feet 11 inches, 190 lbs, with braided hair and wearing a black sweatshirt with a white pattern and black pants.

The investigations is ongoing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
