Murder charge laid after fatal fall at Windsor hotel

Windsor police have charged a 19-year-old man with murder after a man died from his injuries following an incident at a hotel on Howard Avenue.

Investigators said a 36-year-old man dropped from the second floor of the hotel at around 12:30 a.m. Monday and was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.  He later succumbed to his injuries.

Windsor police arrested 19-year-old Robert Legebow at the scene in connection with the investigation and have since charged him with one count of second degree murder.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
