Police investigate another shooting in downtown Windsor

Windsor police say they are looking for a suspect after a shooting early Friday morning in downtown Windsor.

A man in his late 20s was shot around 1:45 a.m. near Ouellette Avenue and Maiden Lane.

Police have closed Ouellette Avenue between Park Street and Wyandotte Street while they investigate.  There is no word when that section of the road will reopen.

It is in the same area two people were stabbed last weekend during a large fight.

Police say the victim suffered life-threatening injuries and underwent surgery.  He is currently listed in critical condition in the hospital.
