Man assaulted on Greenway in Kingsville

Provincial police in Kingsville are searching for a man suspected of assaulting another man walking along the Greenway.

Police said the assault happened on Sunday at around 2:30 p.m. on the Chrysler Canada Greenway just west of Heritage Road in Kingsville. The male victim told officers he was approached and struck with a weapon by a man who took items from his wallet and fled the area. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries at the hospital.

The male suspect is described as 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, 150 pounds and dressed all in black.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
