One stop shop for job seekers at the WFCU Centre

Windsor's biggest job and career fair of the year is on Friday.

The Windsor-Essex Job Day at the WFCU Centre runs from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and can help with the job search process and offers a large number of employment opportunities. The event is to help local employers fill their vacancies and job seekers find their dream job. Businesses will have the chance to screen candidates for existing or future job openings and gain exposure. Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet employers and gather company and career information.

Admission is free and there is free child care available.

There are almost 50 companies looking for workers.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
