Two people charged in Windsor man's disappearance

Charges have been laid in the disappearance of a Windsor man.

Bryce Hall's remains were found in a wooded area in Amherstburg September 3 off of the 8th Concession Road between Alma Street and Texas Road after the 25-year-old went missing in August of 2017.

Maureen Mooney, 40, of Windsor was arrested Thursday afternoon and Mark Banton, 34, of Windsor was arrested Friday morning. They are both charged with improper and indecent interference with a dead body. Police said the man was already in custody on unrelated matters connected to this investigation.

An arrest warrant has also been issued for Krystal Allaire, 35, from Midland for the same charge of improper and indecent interference with a dead body.

Investigators add they are not currently looking for any other suspects but the case remains under active investigation.

Police have not said how Hall died.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
