BBB issues a warning about a Windsor business after large volume of complaints

The Better Business Bureau Western Ontario is warning the public about a Windsor window installation company.

The BBB said it has recently received a higher than normal volume of complaints about Certified Windows.

They are regarding non-delivery of ordered products, as well as failure to respond to consumer inquiries regarding installation dates or refunds.

The BBB adds these complaints are currently pending as it is waiting for a response from Certified Windows.

The current BBB rating for Certified Windows is an "F" because 18 complaints have been filed against the business since 2015, and it has failed to respond to seven of them.

Their office at 4897 Tecumseh Road East in Windsor is closed, and their voice mailbox is full. The company has yet to respond by email.

Certified Windows has been in business for 25 years and has 11 employees.
