UPDATE: Police investigate Halloween shooting

Windsor police are looking for a shooting suspect.

Investigators believe that a man entered an occupied vehicle parked behind 1666 Ouellette Avenue at approximately 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday and shots were fired into the vehicle before he left the scene.

Police said they were called after a 22-year-old Windsor man arrived at the hospital at approximately 10 p.m. with a gunshot wound. His injuries are non-life threatening.

The suspect is described as a black man, approximately 20-25 years of age with long black hair pulled back and put in a bun. He was wearing a black jacket over a black hoodie and jeans.

Investigators are gathering surveillance footage from the area and the matter remains under investigation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
