Two down, one to go in Windsor shooting

Windsor police have arrested a second Windsor shooting suspect but a third remains at large.

Police said Kenrick George, 24, of Windsor turned himself in on Monday and was charged with trafficking cocaine. Detectives believe that the shooting was a drug-related incident.

Guled Ismail, 25, from the Toronto area remains at large. He is wanted for attempted murder, robbery with a weapon and trafficking cocaine. He is to be considered armed and dangerous.

Julia Sweeney, 19, of Windsor, was arrested on Friday at Park Street and Ouellette Avenue and is charged with attempted murder and robbery with a weapon.

A 22-year-old man was shot once behind an apartment building on Ouellette Avenue near Hanna Street Wednesday night.

None of the allegations have been proven in court.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
