Police investigate day-light stabbing downtown

The Windsor Police Service's Major Crimes Unit is investigating a stabbing downtown on Sunday.

Officers were called to University Ave. E between Church St. and Bruce Ave. around 1:30 p.m. after a man had been stabbed.

His injuries are said to be non-life threatening.

Police are currently looking for a suspect, but so far have not released a description to the public.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
