Rock Your Sole -- The Reunion Raises $105K

An event to support the Canadian Mental Health Association's Sole Focus Project has raised a record amount for the second consecutive year.

Rock Your Sole -- The Reunion raised more than $105,000 last Saturday at the Canadian Historical Aircraft Museum. More than 350 people attended the sold-out event that featured local artist Jody Raffoul, DJ PJ, and DJ Blazin' Hazen.

"The amount of support from the Windsor-Essex community has been incredible. We are so grateful to our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and supplies who made Rock Your Sole -- The Reunion a night to remember," said Jasmine Jasey, Sole Focus Project Ambassador and chair of the Rock Your Sole committee. "If we help just one person with their mental health issues, it makes all of our efforts worthwhile."

The Sole Focus Project was launched by the CMHA Windsor-Essex County in 2017 with a goal to engage the community about mental health and wellness. It has raised $800,000 so far towards its three-year $1.5-million goal.
