Walmart offers grocery pickup in Windsor now

Walmart Canada says customers in Windsor can now order their groceries ahead of time and pick them up in the store.

Windsor has been added to the list of cities offering the service where customers order their groceries online or through the companies app.

The app will notify customers 30 minutes before the order is ready.

Once at the store, customers pull into a designated parking spot, alerting staff that you have arrived and workers will load up your vehicle.

"The Walmart Grocery Pickup service is very popular in Ontario, and we are so excited to bring this free service to customers in Windsor," said Daryl Porter, the vice-president of online grocery.

Same day service is available when customers order before 11 a.m. for pickup after 4 p.m., and the minimum order is $50 before taxes.
