Windsor waste depot construction may cause delays

The Essex-Windsor Solid Waste Authority is advising residents and businesses that there could be some delays at the public drop off depot in Windsor for the next two weeks.

There is construction at 3560 North Service Rd. East from November 26 to December 11.

The waste authority is recommending that any non-urgent trips to the depot be postponed until after December 11 to avoid unnecessary delays.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
