UPDATE: Child pornography bust at the Windsor tunnel

The Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) is reporting that a Windsor man has been arrested at the Windsor-Detroit tunnel and charged with possession of child pornography.

The bust happened on October 29 around 7 p.m. The CBSA said a man was returning to Canada using the tunnel and was pulled in for further examination. Officers examined his electronic devices and allegedly discovered suspected child pornography.

John Szatori, 43, of Windsor is charged with unlawfully importing goods including graphic images and/or videos depicting prohibited and obscene material as well as smuggling images and/or videos into Canada containing prohibited or obscene material.

None of the allegations have been proven in court.

His first appearance in court is expected to be December 10, 2018.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
