Express top the Five 103-91

The Windsor Express beat the Sudbury Five 103-91 in NBLC action on Wednesday.

The Express took a four-point advantage in the first quarter and extended their lead 54-43 as the game entered halftime.  Windsor continued to lead 78-65 at the end of the third frame, and remained ahead of Sudbury in the final quarter to win with a 12-point advantage.

Juan Pattillo led Windsor in scoring with 18 points and seven rebounds, while Reggie Hamilton also put up 16 points. Ryan Anderson and DeAndre Thomas both scored 14 points as well.

The Express will head to Sudbury on Saturday to take on the Five again at 7 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
