Tecumseh crash leads to drunk driving charges

A Tecumseh woman has been charged with drunk driving after a crash Wednesday afternoon.

Provincial police said the driver of an SUV lost control during a turn and struck a utility pole at Lesperance Road and Tecumseh Road in Tecumseh.

Kimberley Greenwood, 33, of Tecumseh is charged with impaired driving, care or control of a vehicle over 80 milligrams of alcohol in the blood, driving with a suspended licence, and making an unsafe turn. Her vehicle has been impounded for seven days.

There were no injuries reported.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
