Dilkens to meet with Ford Monday

Windsor's mayor is planning a sit-down meeting with Ontario's premier Monday morning.

Mayor Drew Dilkens will be one of several mayors from across Ontario planning to meet with Premier Doug Ford in Toronto.

While it was not disclosed what exactly will be talked about at the meeting, a news release from the premier's office said that Ford will be discussing specific priorities with Dilkens as far as economic issues and provincial services are concerned.

A total of seven mayors from across the province have meetings scheduled with the premier on Monday.

Dilkens was sworn-in last week for his second term as Windsor's mayor.
