Windsor police seek pair in weekend robbery

Windsor police are looking for two suspects accused of holding up a local business.

Officers were called around 8 p.m. Saturday to a variety store on Wyandotte Street East near Thompson Boulevard on a report of a robbery that had just taken place. The investigation showed that two suspects entered the store wearing ski masks over their faces. One had a suspected handgun and the other carried a noxious substance believed to be bear spray.

The suspects demanded money from the clerk. They sprayed the employee and left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. The clerk suffered minor injuries but did not require medical treatment.

Police have released photos of the suspects, shown below, and are asking the public to take a look to see if they know who the suspects are.

The first suspect is described as male, 6'0" tall, wearing a skinny wearing blue and white plaid long sleeve coat with a brown hoodie underneath, black pants with white writing on the lower half of the leg, brown winter or hiking boots, ski mask, and carrying a can of bear spray.

The second is described as male, 5'7" tall, wearing a big black puffy jacket, grey jogging pants, black and white Nike shoes, ski mask, and carrying a handgun.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff
