Essex man identified in fatal crash

The Ontario Provincial Police has identified the victim of Sunday night's fatal crash on County Road 8 in Lakeshore.

Police say 25-year-old Chad Harb was in a vehicle that left the road, rolled, and came to rest in a field. Earlier, the OPP said he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash, around 10 p.m., closed County Road 8 and County Road 31 until 7:30 a.m. Monday morning.

Investigators have also identified another vehicle that was indirectly involved in the collision. The driver of that vehicle has been interviewed, and police say the investigation is ongoing.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
