Grandma and grandpa celebrate lottery win

"It's just wonderful," a smiling William Totten told Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation officials after winning $50,000.

He and his wife, Ida, won while playing the ONTARIO 49 draw last month.

The couple went to the Real Canadian Superstore on Dougall Avenue in Windsor to check their lottery tickets after the November 21 draw.

"We didn't believe it at first sign," laughed Ida, a retired nurse. "We had to take our ticket to the lady at the cash register to confirm our win."

"This is our first big win," she added.

The married parents of two and grandparents of three plan to take care of their family and give to charity.
